Fluorescence ratiometric sensor for trace vapor detection of hydrogen peroxide.
Trace vapor detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) represents a practical approach to nondestructive detection of peroxide-based explosives, including liquid mixtures of H2O2 and fuels and energetic peroxide derivatives, such as triacetone triperoxide (TATP), diacetone diperoxide (DADP), and hexamethylene triperoxide diamine (HMTD). Development of a simple chemical sensor system that responds to...
متن کاملHighly efficient detection of hydrogen peroxide in solution and in the vapor phase via fluorescence quenching.
Herein we report the highly efficient and sensitive detection of hydrogen peroxide in both aqueous solution and in the vapor phase via fluorescence quenching (turn-off mechanism) of the amplified fluorescent conjugated polymer-titanium complex induced by hydrogen peroxide. Inter- and intra-polymer energy migration leads to extremely high sensitivity.
متن کاملA carbon dot-based fluorescence turn-on sensor for hydrogen peroxide with a photo-induced electron transfer mechanism.
A carbon dot-based fluorescence turn-on sensor for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) with a photo-induced electron transfer mechanism was developed. The sensor exhibits good selectivity, sensitivity, and rapid response to H2O2 with a detection limit of 84 nM. The sensor maintains excellent sensing performance over a wide pH range.
متن کاملSelective detection of vapor phase hydrogen peroxide with phthalocyanine chemiresistors.
The use of hydrogen peroxide as a precursor to improvised explosives has made its detection a topic of critical importance. Chemiresistor arrays comprised of 50 nm thick films of metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) are redox selective vapor sensors of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is shown to decrease currents in cobalt phthalocyanine sensors while it increases currents in nickel, copper, and ...
متن کاملPaper-based vapor detection of hydrogen peroxide: colorimetric sensing with tunable interface.
Vapor detection of hydrogen peroxide still remains challenging for conventional sensing techniques, though such vapor detection implies important applications in various practical areas, including locating IEDs. We report herein a new colorimetric sensor system that can detect hydrogen peroxide vapor down to parts per billion level. The sensory materials are based on the cellulose microfibril n...
